Montage Assignment Evaluation
Evaluation
I began The Montage Assignment by looking at various Montage examples shown on the internet. I became interested and highly inspired by Street Montage, so I collected some Images I took whilst visiting Manchester City Centre.
The layout of my Montage is similar to one included in my research by 'Jadey'. I used various colours that contrasted against each other and my aim was to include different shadows, figures and shapes to create interest.
The text positioned at the top of the Montage works well and the use of road signs ,as each are colourful and look interesting. I became inspired by an Image I included in my research which demonstrates a collaboration of road signs.
If I was given the opportunity to recreate the Montage I would have experimented more with the layout and I could have altered the perspective. I could have positioned large Images at the bottom of the montage getting smaller towards the top to give an illusion of giant objects.
