During this part of the assignment I will be photographing a colleage who will modeling as a rock star. The task for these set of Images was to produce a fron cover of a music album. The reason I chose to photograph this particular colleage is that she has a unique style and would portray a "rock star look" well, she has tattoos on her body which are also interesting to photgraph. I will be using a digital camera as I find it works more imedeate , and as I may need to do the shoot several times by using digital I will be able to correct my mistakes quicker. The camera is a Nikon D90 and the lense that will be used is a 18 to 105 mm.I will also be shooting RGB. The camera setting will be 160th F11.
The first test shot taken I positioned to model inside a picture frame to try an unusual idea. The lighing used has not been brightly lit and doesnt stand out.
The second test shot focuses on the model playing the guitar. Lighting used for this Image was two large soft boxes and a flash head 160th F9.
The next test shot has been altered to black and white.
These Images work well out of all the test shots . The photograph captures the model playing the guitar and portraying a rockstar Image . The reason I have changed the last Image to a red colour is to match the name of the album. I altered this Image on phptoshop to create this effect. The angle of the photograph is taken from a side view to capture the models body. I also wanted to photograph from an angle that would allow the guitar to stand out.The red colour of the instrument was also chosen to represent the name of the album.
