Still Life
For the Still Life Task I have photographed Eggs which have been placed into a frying pan.The subject will be photographed from various angles and the lighting will be placed in different positions to highlight the eggs and create a vibrant look.
The first photograph taken I used two Softboxes and Barndoor lighting however the subject looks too bright and no shadows have formed around the eggs. The colour of the eggs have also been drained out by the intensity of the light. I have taken the photograph again but used different lighting.
The photograph below shows a plan of the lighting used for this Image. A soft box was positioned downwards towards the subject and Barndoors lighting was also positioned towards the black backdrop. Barndoors lighting has been used again in this Image which are useful to direct the light towards the subject and help create form and contrast round the eggs. The softbox gives the photograph a soft overall light. The Image has been lit so that detail around the egg shells can be picked up in the photograph.
This Photograph was taken by a photographer called Annabelle breaky. This Image inspired me to produce a still life photograph of eggs placed into frying pan. The egg that has been cracked open gave me the idea to do he same however I have taken my photograph closer.
